I dream of waking up at dawn, the ocean still and calm like glass as the sun peaks to show its first ray. I shall enjoy a cup of coffee, as I gaze into the ocean, awed by its power and calmed by its presence before me. This art was the first of my experiments as I used ground coffee to stain the canvass and set the tone for the rest of the painting.
